But will it be Dobbs/Palin or Palin/Dobbs? Posted: 11 hours ago by cecilberman
During an interview on WTOP radio in Washington, Dobbs fueled rumors he’s seeking a bid for public office, possibly the highest office in the land, when asked if speculation about an Oval Office bid is “crazy talk.”
“What’s so crazy about that?” Dobbs, 64, replied. “Golly!”
Oh, I hope he runs. We need more comical characters with little or no relevant experience to provide relief from all the too-serious mainstream candidates.

Congress For Sale Posted: 1 week ago by cecilberman

Former Congressman sentenced to 13 years for accepting bribes Posted: 1 week ago by bigirishdude
William Jefferson, a former Congressman from New Orleans, was sentenced to 13 years... less that what the prosecutors asked for, but more than what the defense argue he should receive for his crimes.
During the time of the Roman Empire, an elected official convicted of accepting a bribe was executed. If we used that as precedent, I think we'd be executing Congressmen and Senators so often that no one would run for office.
