I wish you guys could've seen it. I added it three times in my head, even after I saw the answer and did not get it. And even while I was putting it in the calculator I didn't get it.

but i only got the math problem because i knew it was trying to trick me.

took me about 5 minutes of getting 5000 in my head to give up adding them up in order and do the 1000s first then the rest, made is easier ^_-

the rest were more obvious 'tricks'

Truth is, this was waaaay before coffee and during insomnia time, so I am sort of surprised I did so well. Must be getting very cynical in my old age.

12/13, but I dispute the answer about the pills... If you are supposed to take one every half hour, wouldn't the effects of each pill last for thirty minutes after taking each pill? Therefore, the pills will last for 90 minutes before I must run to the corner pharmacist for another hit...

It never asks about the effects of the pill. The question said specifically "how long would the pills last?" (it was a trick question)

My teacher once gave us what was essentialy this quiz for a quiz. I was one of the only ones who got 4100. Like three kids were fighting that it was 5000 XD One kid after doing it three times on 'the board and on the calculator was still like wtf? and basically just gave up on trying to learn the answer why.
Although I have to admit I failed the math question on that quiz. I got hte right answer the first time, but I thought that there was a trick to it and put some odd answer XD
