Looks like they're integrating vocaloid technology with the robots now. She's dressed as Hatsune Miku, a program that has been used to synthesize the human voice in a music writing program. Miku has been given a 2d image and has become something like a 'pop star' on the internet. Perhaps this technology will eventually create a 3d version of this phenomenon?
