Cynthia Davis has been taken to task by both Keith Olbermann and Stephen Colbert for writing in a press release that "hunger can be a positive motivator," suggesting that instead of using the state's nutrition program, poor teens should just go out and get a job.

As a teenager I would really need to be in dire straits to go to school or a government building in the summer to eat.
If your community has so many children going to school for a meal that it cost over $9 million to feed them, how in the world does she think my weekly tithes are going to able to cover such a financial impact.
First time I have heard of her and her BS so I'm not over being shocked and appalled yet.
