Oh... are you using an immigration attorney? That would help speed things up... I wasn't in a hurry... so I didn't use an attorney and pocketed the legal fees... and it took that long... in Texas...

Not using an immigration lawyer, just asked him some questions. He said that even if you file by yourself there's not much of a difference in the time it takes. I'm filing in California.

got my registration packet for next (and final) semester. I only have to take ONE class so I'm sitting here looking for 3 more classes. I got storyboard, maybe printmaking, need one more :X

I'm pretty sure it's different state to state, because I have friends that became citizens recently here and it took no longer than 6 months. There's several different offices for each region, maybe you just got a lazy one. :P

So, my dad friended me on Facebook. I wouldn't mind so much if he weren't the kind of person who would constantly post comments like, "Don't you have something better to do?" The alternative, of course, is hurting his feelings by ignoring his request, and hearing about it for the next few weeks/months/years.

It's been maybe 8 months...a year. I swore I would never go back. But I can feel the urges coming on right now, and there is nothing to stop me from falling off the wagon. It's an addiction, I know. I admit that freely and that I am powerless against it. But that doesn't make it any easier when I start in again. :O/
