I guess it's best just to keep your junk away from scissors and pies.

Food pie or cow pie?

If both can be used against scissors, then scissors will surely be vanquished. Depending on your tastes, you eat the food pie and throw the cow pie at the scissor wielding maniac, certainly defeating him, or vice versa.

If I'm in the mood for a tasty snack/dessert, I'd choose pie nine times out of ten.

Generally when I need to cut something I go with scissors. Of course, there are exceptions to all rules. Both are good, in their own ways.

If I had to have one right now, I think I'd have to go with pie.
